Antipodea produces well constructed, quality garments for conscious consumers. Antipodea is a passion project inspired by one woman's love and obsession to create. Each garment is made to order by Hannah in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. The workroom is situated in Hannah's home where she also works fulltime as a contract machinist for other New Zealand owned and operated clothing labels. Sewing, creating and experiencing beautiful places and beautiful things are all part of Antipodea in a day.
Being a small locally made brand enables Antipodea to manage and monitor our environmental and social impact closely. Antipodea endorses slow production processes and sources materials as locally as possible. Our no frills packaging approach means we don’t produce swing tags for each garment as it creates needless waste. Garments are packaged using Complast bags, paper mailers and each garment comes in a tote bag made from offcuts of fabric. Additionally, there is a small note inside each package which is made using wildflower seed paper. Antipodea is a labour of love supporting a circular economy. We provide free repairs and alterations to any of our garments, including tears, zip replacements or patches to increase the lifespan of each piece. If customers no longer want their garments they can be returned (you get a sweet discount on your next purchase) and will be repurposed or donated to someone in need. Discounted items, including items on sale can be returned for an exchange or online store credit, but cannot be returned for a refund.
Returns must be received within 14 days from the original purchase date. Items received outside of this period will not be accepted.
Returned items must be in original condition and not worn, altered or washed. Items must have all tags and packaging attached.
We will assess the item once returned to ensure it meets our criteria before a refund or exchange will be processed.
Antipodea is not liable for the loss of items being returned. We recommend using a traceable delivery method and taking note of your tracking number.
If you feel your item has a fault please contact us at [email protected] within 5 days of receiving your order and please remember to quote your invoice number. We will then happily repair any faults or replace the garment completely. If Antipodea is not able to repair or replace the garment you will be provided with a full refund.
All refunds will be processed onto the purchasers credit card used at the time of the original order. Refunds may take up to 3 working days to be processed. If you have not received your refund within 3 working days please get in contact with us.
